One of the most exciting shows to surface on stages recently, the
ELECTRIC BLUES EXPLOSION delivers four great individual artists that
go beyond the call of duty and do more than just deliver some
exciting sets.
They collaborate.
They feed of each other.
They respect one another.
But most importantly:
They know how to deliver the goods like has rarely been seen before.
Guitars are caressed, abused, beaten, made to sing - to sum it up:
anything you can imagine to bring the blues home and then some.
And audiences are eating it up. The sheer power of emotion displayed by these amazing musicians has crowds jumping up, cheering for more.
The stars of the show are successful musicians in their own right and
jumped at the chance to do something different. Needless to say, they
ended up having the time of their lives and can't wait to bring the
explosion to audiences around the globe.
Wild T - Played guitar with David Bowie and has opened for Bon Jovi, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen etc. A regular on the Canadian and European festival circuit
Carson Downey - Winner of 17 Canadian Awards, including 5 Maple Blues Awards and Fender Guitarist of the Year. Carson has toured in Germany, Greenland, Asia, US & Canada.
Thom Swift - Multiple Canadian Award Winner with 7 band and a brand new solo CD to his credit.
Keith Hallett - The KID - only 18 years old and several lifetimes worth of feel in his playing. Recipient of the CBC/Galaxie Radio Rising Star Award.
The four artists perform in a variety of settings. The regular theatre show is comprised of each artist playing a set of their own with a grand finale with all artists appearing on stage at the same time (this is a 150 to 180 minute show).
Festival shows can either be 60 to 90 minutes of all artists
appearing together or a full night of individual sets with the grand
