Saint John, NB is getting it's first annual Alpine Lager Saint John BBQ Festival on August 21 and 22. The event, produced by Atlantica Live, will feature BBQ Pits with international foods, a circus, flyball dogs, a bus pull, live concerts and a special Saturday Night Blues and BBQ. Kevin Chase spends 45 days at # 1

It's come to an end for Atlantica artist Kevin Chase, but a very happy one. Kevin spent 45 days at No 1 on the Canadian My Space charts in 2 categories: Indie Country Artist and Overall Country Artist, which includes major label acts. During the same time, Kevin continuously was in the Top 5 songs and was rated the No 1 artist in all genres numerous times. Internationally, he spent the same time frame in the Indie Country Top 20, peaking twice at #9. On the Global Overall Country Top 100, which includes all major label artists, he peaked at No 51. All of it a major accomplishment that couldn't have been accomplished without all of his incredible fans. "Round 3" is receiving steady downloads on iTunes. After 19 consecutive days at No 1 on the Canadian My Space Indie and Overall Country Charts, Kevin Chase has entered the Top 10 internationally on the Global Indie Country Charts at # 10, ahead of such artists as Tracy Lawrence, John Michael Montgomery, Hank Williams Jr, Alison Krauss, Clint Black, Sammy Kershaw and Dwight Yoakam. On the Global Overall Country Charts, which includes all major label artists, Kevin is currently at # 57.

Kevin Chase has now been # 1 for 15 consecutive days on the Canadian My Space Indie and Overall Country Charts. He has also held the Top 4 song spots for that long. On the world wide Global Indie Country Charts, he has bounced between # 14 and # 18 for 15 days and on the Global Overall Country Charts, which includes Major Label artists, Indies and Unsigned, he is # 81 ahead of Diamond Rio, Randy Travis, Big and Rich, Alison Kraus, Bucky Covington and George Jones. Kevin Chase releases first single.

The long awaited album "Round 3" by Kevin Chase is just about ready to hit the shelves. The first single "A Better Day" went to Canadian Radio and is starting to receive spins. The single will be available on iTunes world-wide on July 1st with the full album to follow a couple of weeks later. The single is also getting select airplay in Australia, Sweden and Holland. As of May 28th, Kevin has been climbing up the My Space Charts as well, ranking as the # 1 Overall Country Artist, the # 1 Indie Country Artist, the # 5 All Genres Indie Artist and the # 10 All Genres Overall Artist. Way to go, Kevin.

Live Concert Video Shoot Series

Atlantica Live and The Blue Olive present the Winter Blooze Live Concert Video Shoot Series. 3 Friday nights, 3 fantastic shows, 3 Live Concert Video Shoots.

The series will be recorded over 3 Friday nights in February by Atlantica Studios' Mobile Recording Unit and video taped by Hemmings House Pictures to provide DVD quality live concert footage in an intimate setting. The series will feature DEE and band with special guests and opener ZWERG on Friday, February 12th; recording artist Kevin Chase with special guest star Kenny Greer (Tom Cochrane and Red Rider, The Roadhammers) and opener Jessica Darrah on Friday, February 19th; and former David Bowie guitarist Wild T & The Spirit on Friday, February 26th.

Dee's iPhone app is officially a hit. Downloads of the app in the first 10 days surpassed all expectations by a landslide with the app being downloaded globally and spreading the word and music of Dee to places and people everywhere across the globe.

Larry Carlton to play Canada in 2010

18 time Grammy Award Nominee and 3 time Grammy Award Winner Larry Carlton will be touring a hand full of Canadian festivals in 2010.

During the 1970s, Carlton was a busy session musician inLos Angeles, appearing on up to 500 recordings a year, including albums by Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell and Quincy Jones. His loopy, dazzling guitar work on Steely Dan's "Kid Charlemagne" from their 1976 LP The Royal Scam has been listed as the third best guitar solo on record by Rolling Stone Magazine. Carlton's impressive list of credits includes appearances on over 100 GOLD albums. In 2001, his live performance with Toto lead guitarist Steve Lukather, No Substitutions: Live At Osaka, garnered his third Grammy, proving once again his staying power in the business. In 2009, he received two additional Grammy Nominations.

Michael White, the legendary singer who has performed the music of (and has received the endorsement of) Led Zeppelin to over 3 million people world-wide is presenting Orchestral Zeppelin.

DEE releases first full-length CD

Former Canadian Idol Top 11 Finalist and Atlantica Live Management client DEE has released her first solo CD "Crazy Love" world-wide on Atlantica Live Records.

The CD was recorded at Atlantica Studios and was produced by Marc Gosselin.

Prior to the CD launch, Dee signed an agreement with MTV/Viacom International that will see Dee's music featured in upcoming original programming by the global network.
